At Scheiber Sport we have a wide range of modern ski and snowboard material available for hire. We also stock snowshoes, toboggans, cross-country skis and all the equipment you need for off-piste ski touring.
With so many different models to choose from and a team of highly trained staff on hand to advise you, finding the right equipment for you could not be easier. All skis are fully serviced between hires. Thanks to our interconnected electronic inventory service, you can rent and test skis at any branch in the ski resort.
Snowboarders will also find exactly what they are looking for in the Scheiber Sport hire shops, where they can choose from a wide selection of boards and boots. And if you are not happy with your equipment, simply drop by and let us swap it for you.

Scheiber Sport customers can use our storage facilities free of charge. All boots are kept in excellent condition and disinfected between uses.

FAQ Ski Rental
No. You can also rent the rental equipment on site. We always have plenty of ski and snowboard equipment in stock. However, you will only receive a 15% discount on your rental equipment if you book online more than 5 days in advance.
Yes. If you have booked a certain model and would like to change it on site, that is no problem.
It depends. There are different rental categories with different prices. The price differences result from the materials used in the ski. In addition, the rental price changes depending on how much rental equipment you need and how long you wish to keep it.
No. We do not sell skis from the rental stock. As our rental skis are sharpened very often, we cannot estimate how long the rental skis will still be suitable for use. However, almost every rental ski model can be bought as a new ski at Scheiber Sport.
Yes. Every rental ski receives a base wax and edge sharpening after every rental.
Yes. You can reserve your rental equipment online via our homepage. For the rental process itself you have to come to one of our branches as the equipment has to be adjusted and set up to your specific needs.
Our Scheiber Sport branches are located at all feeder lifts in Obergurgl and Hochgurgl. This makes our branches the perfect starting point from which to access the ski area.
Yes. We also have rental equipment for children. For children up to and including 9 years we have children's skis, children's ski boots and children's helmets. From 10 to 14 years we use youth equipment.
No. You can also pay for the ski rental on site after picking up the equipment. However, there is of course also the possibility to pay online by credit card.
Yes. You can change both the ski model and the category during the rental process in the shop.
In this case, simply book a specific category and then select the special ski model when you get to the shop. In the shop you will receive expert advice from our trained staff. Booking online and then selecting the model on site means you still receive the online discount of 15% on your rental.
