During the summer months, one of the five Scheiber Sport branches remain open. This branch is located in the centre of Obergurgl next to the church.
The branch in the centre of Obergurgl is the ideal starting point for easy walks around the village as well as hikes up into the mountains, including to the Ramolhaus hut. It is also a good base for tackling the via ferrata in the nearby pine forest, which is just a short walk from the village.
